This site collects no personal information about you as you browse. There are no accounts or sign-ups, no advertising, and no cookies. It uses no third-party analytics or trackers. There are no requests to outside companies.
The feedback form. If you choose to use the “Report an error” form, the information you send—the issue type, your description, and your email address if you choose to provide one—is emailed to Glenn Fleishman and saved in this site’s private database. It is not shared with anyone else. Your IP address is not submitted with the report, though it may be inferred from transient web logs.
Server logs. This webserver keeps standard access-log entries (such as IP address, timestamp, and the page requested) for security, reliability, and aggregate traffic counts. These logs are not used to identify or profile individual visitors, and they are not shared with third parties. Log entries are typically retained no longer than 60 days.
Outbound links and images. Pages link to Apple’s website for source specifications, and results pages display book covers and links from Take Control Books. Following a link to, or loading an image from, those sites is governed by their own privacy practices.
